WELCOME TO TO THE LAW SOCIETY OF SCOTLAND'S HOME REPORT INFORMATION PAGE

From December 1st 2008, it will be a mandatory requirement to produce a Home Report when selling a residential property in Scotland.

The Home report will comprise of four elements:

Prescribed

1. Property Questionnaire (PQ)
2. Single Survey (SSV)
3. Energy Report and Energy Performance Certificate (EPC)

Non-prescribed

4. Mortgage valuation Report (MVR)

All Home Reports instructed through the Society Home Report service will have a MVR, albeit it is not a prescribed document.
